BRINGING OUR COMMUNITIES TOGETHER

TFI Local Link Laois Offaly

TFI Local Link Laois Offaly co-ordinate rural transport services across Laois and Offaly.  We have 47 weekly scheduled services with 200 plus trips a week currently in operation.  We are delighted to include amongst this schedule three new services which have commenced recently. These new services are run by local operators on wheelchair accessible buses.

One new service encompasses the new training centre at Mount Lucas to aide the upskilling of construction workers and TFI Local Link now provide access to this centre from Tullamore via Daingean, Rhode, Edenderry, Walsh Island and return.

Our second new service also encompasses Mount Lucas from Borris-in-Ossory via Castletown, Mountrath, Portlaoise, Mountmellick, Portarlington.

Our third new service runs from Pollagh to Clara via Lemanaghan, Boher and Ballycumber operating 3 times a day with the 6.30 a.m. morning service connecting with our service to Athlone Institute of Technology.  This service returns 2 times a day back to Pollagh from Clara.

It is the goal of TFI Local Link Laois Offaly to enhance the connectivity in rural towns to give back the independence to our rural communities, by providing access to nearby towns for social, education and employment opportunities helping to break down the social exclusion and isolation experienced in our rural towns and villages.
